The Founder of the company - Jack McCormick entered the construction trade as an apprentice. Over a period of 22 years, McCormick became a journeyman, Foreman, supervisor and finally a contractor. As a contractor, McCormick realized a need and in 1980 introduced a new concept that moved estimating from a large mainframe to a personal computer. Over the years, the company continued to improve, add, and expand product and people until its workforce now exceeds thirty persons, all working on and supporting estimating products.  McCormick's software is acknowledged as the leader in the industry.
 

Todd McCormick, the Company President, started working at McCormick Electric in 1977 plugging and switching. He then graduated from the Electrical Apprentice program. After graduating he went on to work for a major contractor, working his way up through Journeyman, Foreman, Estimator and then Project Manager. He came back to work for McCormick Systems in a sales capacity and became Company President in 1999. He continues the vision that Jack McCormick started, with an emphasis on innovation. 
 

McCormick Systems is now marketing and supporting their newest line of products for estimating, time and material billing, change order management, and CAD interface which are continuing to revolutionize the estimating/management needs of contractors. 

McCormick Systems develops, markets, and supports estimating software to the construction industry.  Starting in 1979 on the Apple II computer and a user base of one, McCormick has grown to become recognized as the nations leader in estimating software.  McCormick now has over 8,000 contractor accounts throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia, and beyond.. 

McCormick's full line of estimating and management software is in Microsoft Windows platforms. McCormick's network programs are completely multi-user multi-tasking and can be licensed by the station or as a system. 

McCormick's Corporate offices are located in Chandler, Arizona and at the present time, McCormick employs over thirty full time persons.  The Corporate office contains offices for development, support, shipping, accounting, and marketing.  In addition, it has a dedicated "learning center" for product instruction.
