Regional Sales Manager

Summary:
McCormick Systems, the Nation’s Leader in Estimating Software, is currently looking for an aggressive, experienced Regional Sales Manager to handle its Midwest Territory. You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals focused on meeting and exceeding sales quotas while maintaining excellent customer relations. Your skills, creativity, and innovation are relied upon while furthering your career and knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:
*Promote McCormick Systems products and services
*Develop and maintain customer accounts
*Close new business opportunities through prospecting and networking
*Work within a team – committed to the product and top quality service
*Present to audiences, large or small, products that are offered via the Internet.
*With the latest technology, the majority of the sales are Web and Phone based.

Required Skills / Experience:
*5+ years sales experience preferred
*Bachelor’s degree a plus
*Computer literate, experience using contact management software is a plus
*Excellent and professional communication skills – written and verbal
*Reliable, self motivated individual that can promote a “team” attitude
*Looking for an aggressive, career focused, goal oriented person
*Good Selling and Presentation skills
*Some travel is necessary
*Strong time management and organization skills
*Candidates must have excellent customer service skills
*Construction knowledge is a plus.

Position is salary + commissions. Benefits package includes health, dental, vacation, 401K with company match, tuition reimbursement, etc. Position will be based out of our downtown Chandler location.

Software Developer

Summary:
McCormick Systems, the Nation’s Leader in Estimating Software, has an opening for a software developer with experience in designing and writing applications in .NET, MS Access and SQL Server. You will be part of a dynamic team of professionals focused on designing, producing and enhancing the highest quality and functional software for the Construction Industry. Your skills, creativity and innovation are relied upon while furthering your career and knowledge.

Primary Responsibilities:
•Design, develop and test .Net/SQL Server Windows forms applications.
•Analyze business processes and requirements to create solutions that meet and exceed the project needs and vision.
•Identify and resolve conflicts within the program.
•Work within a team - committed to meeting project deadlines.
•Recommends improvements.
•Provides appropriate status and risk information

Required Skills/Experience:
•5 + years design and development experience with VB.Net, SQL Server, and MS Access.
•Expertise in developing Windows based forms applications
•Ability to work on multiple projects
•Effective communication and people contact skills at all levels
•Knowledge of Internet connectivity and LAN / WAN technology is a plus
•Strong problem solving skills, and the ability to quickly learn new technology
•Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems and software.
•Strong time management and prioritization skills
•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Salary:

Plumbing / Mechanical Application Support & Trainer

McCormick Systems, Inc. provides estimating software for the Electrical, Automated Building Systems, Plumbing and Mechanical industry. We are currently in our 31st year of business. We pride ourselves on prompt, courteous, and solution providing customer service and technical support. We are a family owned and operated company.

General Responsibilities:
•           Update and maintain Plumbing / Mechanical Database of items, prices, labor units and assemblies
•           Teach industry knowledge and product training classes
•           Assist customers with product implementation and initial start up
•           Provide customers with industry best practices and effective use of McCormick product line for the Plumbing and Mechanical Industry
•           Interact with Customers via phone as well as in person for classes, seminars and provide technical expertise.
•           Will need to attend events as directed.

Skills / Experience / Physical Requirements
•           Candidates must have excellent customer service skills.
•           Looking for an aggressive, career focused, goal oriented person
•           Have a desire to teach and assist others and a passion to better the industry
•           Must be computer literate; Microsoft Office, experience using contact management and estimating software is a plus.
•           Previous Estimating and/or Project Management experience is required.
•           A high level of motivation and “can do” nature.
•           Able to communicate and motivate in a classroom setting and maintain control of a class to ensure a strong learning environment for all attendees.
•           Strong time management and prioritization skills
•           Self motivated individual that can actively promote a “team” attitude.
•           Possess trade specific knowledge in Plumbing and Mechanical contracting industry.
•           Understanding and knowledge of estimating in these industries
•           Candidate must possess above average and effective communication skills – via phone and in person, problem solving abilities, be able to respond to questions, and be able to assess situations in a timely manner.
•           Know when to handle a problem and / or when to escalate the problem
