Systems' T-Bill (time and material billing system) now interfaces with a
handheld PDA, which enables the entry of electronic work orders in the
field. Field technicians can enter labor hours, materials and specials
before signing the work order on the PDA through "electronic
capture." With wireless PDAs, the work order can be sent to the
office remotely, saving time and money. Otherwise, a simple
"sync" operation back at the office synchronizes the work order
to the office system, thus reducing data entry time."
