Jobs
Interfaces easily with the systems you are familiar with. Create the jobs
as normal in the ABS Estimating System. Open the CAD Estimating System
and all jobs created using the ABS Estimating System are available for
takeoff. Attach an AutoCAD® drawing to the selected job and you are
ready for the easiest takeoff you have ever done. Uses the same user
security.
Takeoff Lengths
No measuring or missed runs. Add the home runs and the drops and your
done. If Lengths are drawn on separate layers, Automatic Takeoff may be
selected measuring the drawing automatically. There is a home run feature
that may be used for the automatic takeoff of the data, fiber, voice, etc.
cables from the outlet to the rack, either end to end or end to end squared
off. Choose the number of additional to add the ends, and the drops
down the wall for each length to be added.
Takeoff Symbols
No more manual counting of Items and Assemblies. Auto Takeoff uses
Takeoff Symbols that are linked to specific Items and Assemblies. All the
symbols (data/voice outlets, cable tray, racks, etc ) are identified, read,
and counted. If the Items and Assemblies are already attached to the
symbols, they are automatically taken off and added to the Audit Trail.
Items and Assemblies
Just pick them out of your estimating system or paste from other jobs.
The CAD Estimating System uses the same Items and Assemblies used in
the ABS Estimating System.
